The INFORMS Society for Marketing Science hosts an Early Career Workshop every other year to support the professional development of pre-tenure marketing scholars. Launched in 2022 to rebuild community post-pandemic, this intimate event convenes untenured faculty and post-docs invited by nomination of their academic departments. Nominations are typically accepted in August for the October workshop. Through mentoring workshops, discussions, and networking with thought leaders, participants gain insights to guide their careers. The event facilitates relationship building and idea exchange amongst the next generation of marketing scientists.
