Full Professor at the Department of Decision Sciences and Director of the Bachelor in Economics, Management and Computer Science of Bocconi University.
He is co-editor-in-chief of the Editorial Board of European Journal of Operational Research. He is the present Co-Chairman of the Technical Committee on Uncertainty Analysis of the European Safety and Reliability Association.
He has won several national and international awards.
He is member of the Editorial Board of European Journal of Operational Research, Risk Analysis, Reliability Engineering and System Safety, International Journal of Mathematics in Operational Research, International Journal of Risk Management, International Journal of Business Logistics, International Journal of Service and Computing Oriented Manufacturing and Economia&Management. He cooperates as referee with several international journals.
He is the author of more than 100 publications. His works have appeared in international journals such as Journl of the Royal Statistica Society Series B, Management Science, Operations Research, European Journal of Operational Research, Risk Analysis, etc..
