Agenda: Decision Making for Emerging Risks
A virtual min-conference, June 22-23, 2021
This joint virtual mini-conference is sponsored by the INFORMS Decision Analysis Society and the Decision Analysis and Risk Group from the Society for Risk Analysis
Chairs: Kara Morgan and Zach Collier
By “emerging risks,” we mean risks that are not well understood, either because they are new or because they are changing.
By “decision making,” we mean that there is a need to act in the face of this uncertainty. That is, that some risk management activity much be undertaken. This topic could also include studies that help to prioritize data collection or knowledge gathering, such as value of information studies.
