2025 GUIDELINES FOR ENRE SESSIONS AND PRESENTATIONS

New for the 2025 Annual Meeting, INFORMS has capped the number of sessions that its communities - including ENRE - can organize. To cope with this new cap, enhance transparency and fairness, and provide the best possible lineup of ENRE sessions at the Annual Meeting, we now require anyone who would like to organize and chair an ENRE session to submit a session proposal by an April 7 deadline.

We welcome innovative session proposals that address cutting-edge research, methodologies, and applications within the ENRE domains. Given the session cap for this year's conference, all proposals will be reviewed according to the following criteria to ensure a diverse, high-quality program.

Session Proposal Review Criteria:

✔ Relevance to one or more ENRE clusters

✔ Originality and contribution to the field

✔ Clarity of session objectives and structure

 ✔ Organizer expertise and experience

INFORMS Annual Meeting participants may not present more than one talk at the conference (but may be co-authors on any number of talks presented by other speakers). To make as much space as possible for presenters to speak, we require ENRE session chairs to include at least four talks in their sessions, and preferably five.

Here are the key deadlines for the 2025 INFORMS Annual Meeting planning cycle:

  • Prospective session chairs submit session proposals to ENRE - April 7, 2025
  • Cluster chairs notify proposal submitters and enter approved sessions into abstract system - April 17, 2025
  • Session chairs enter speaker information into abstract system - May 9, 2025
  • Speakers enter talk information including abstract into the abstract system - May 23, 2025
  • Speakers must register for the conference - August 1, 2025
