TOPIC
Building an Enterprise Customer Hub on Hadoop

ABSTRACT
Organizations today have access to enormous amounts of data. For most of them, customer data tends to reside in silos spread across hundreds of systems and platforms. Breaking down these data silos is one of the biggest challenges to gaining a unified 360-degree view of their customers. Driving a true 360-degree view of your brand's interaction with your customers and prospects requires a new approach.

Doing it right means thinking data first. We'll share how customers are leveraging Hadoop today to consolidate customer repositories in order to gain a unified customer view (promised by MDM and rarely delivered), track customer journeys to drive personalization & targeted marketing, reduce customer churn and use machine learning to provide better customer service while ensuring Ethical Big Data Governance and Security to avoid as one Gartner analyst described it "being creepy" with data.
