Encourage your students to apply for the University of Michigan Industrial and Operations Engineering (U-M IOE) Department's Future Grad Student Workshop!
The U-M IOE Future Grad Student Workshop will be in person at the University of Michigan on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024. The deadline to apply is Sept. 5, 2024.
This workshop is aimed at helping students who are interested in graduate school learn about industrial engineering and how to prepare their applications. This workshop is designed for those who are considering pursuing a graduate degree and are U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or undocumented/DACAmented.
The applicants selected to participate in the workshop will be notified no later than Monday, Sept. 16, 2024. U-M IOE will cover travel expenses for all selected applicants. If the participant does not live within commuting distance they should plan to arrive on Friday, Oct. 4, and leave on Sunday, Oct. 6; we will arrange and pay for your lodging for two nights.
Please feel free to share this with anyone who might benefit from attending or be in a position to encourage students in STEM areas to apply.
