Dear Colleagues,
We are excited to announce that the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University and the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University are jointly hosting the 2nd Annual Symposium on Environmental and Social Sustainability in Supply Chains, on October 14, 2023 (Saturday), just before the INFORMS Annual Meeting, at the Walton Center for Planetary Health on ASU campus.
Building on the success of last year's symposium at the Kelley School of Business, we have once again invited eminent scholars in our community, including Kamalini Ramdas, Erica Plambeck, Burak Kazaz, along with ASU faculty and industry experts (e.g., in sustainable fashion business) to share insights on a diverse range of topics related to environmental and social sustainability. We are planning a full-day event with presentations, panels, and socials. The symposium starts at 9 am with breakfast starting at 8:15 am.
A special note of appreciation to ASU for offering a spacious venue this year. As a result, we're pleased to open this event to all interested community members, on a first-come-first-serve basis. So please forward this announcement to your colleagues and students who may not receive it. In a week, we will post the announcement to other communities.
Please register at this link: specialevents.asu.edu/informssustainability23
The registration fee is $100 for faculty and $70 for students, which helps to offset part of the event costs. The event is co-sponsored by the W. P. Carey School of Business and the Kelley School of Business.
Upon completing your registration, a receipt will be sent to the email address you provide. All communication regarding the event will be sent to this registered email address. Please also check your junk email folder if you don't see it in your inbox. If you have any questions about registration, please contact Monica Petersen at the ASU Department of Supply Chain Management. She can be reached at 480-965-9460 or monica.petersen@asu.edu
If you have any program-related questions, please contact owenwu@indiana.edu and rui.yin@asu.edu
We look forward to seeing you in Phoenix!
Warm Regards,
Kevin Dooley and Rui Yin
