    Dear Colleagues:

With trade policy evolving rapidly and sustainability concerns becoming increasingly urgent, supply chain management research is at the forefront of addressing these global challenges. This is a unique opportunity for the Operations and Supply Chain Management community to lead: to shape how we understand and respond to global interdependence, to inform managerial decisions and public policy, and to guide what we teach the next generation.
Join us this summer to discuss these important topics in a three-part summer webinar series: Rewriting the Rules: Global Trade, Sustainability, and Supply Chain Research. The first session will be held on June 10 at 9:00 AM PT | 12:00 PM ET | 6:00 PM CET, with two additional sessions on the second Tuesday of each month: July 8 and August 12.
The first session will kick off with a presentation by supply chain expert Cori Masters (Gartner), followed by a panel discussion featuring three globally recognized academic leaders in the field: Jan Fransoo (Tilburg University), Panos Kouvelis (Washington University in St. Louis), and Christopher Tang (UCLA). These distinguished scholars bring decades of experience in supply chain research and will share perspectives on how trade policy and sustainability challenges are reshaping the research agenda.
This series is sponsored by the Center for Responsible Supply Chain Management at ASU's W. P. Carey School and the Institute for Environmental and Social Sustainability at IU's Kelley School.
    The series aims to:
    • Understand the landscape: How are trade policies evolving, and what are the implications for supply chain management and sustainability?
    • Engage with industry: What are industry leaders saying, and how can we ground academic inquiry in practice to address real-world challenges?
    • Shape research agenda: How can we identify and frame high-impact questions that drive progress in both practice and policy?
    • Enrich teaching: What real-world insights can we bring into the classroom?
