The Manufacturing & Service Operations Management (M&SOM) journal is proud to announce a special issue on Responsible Retail Operations.
Co-editors: Jan Fransoo from Tilburg University and Dorothee Honhon from the University of Texas at Dallas
Deadline for submissions: August 1, 2025.
Papers must satisfy two conditions:

Responsibility must be explicit, i.e., outcome variables must reach beyond traditional performance objectives and explicitly include one or more responsible outcomes.

The context must be retail, i.e., consumer-facing, with the end consumer paying for a product or service.
