INFORMS Open Forum

Hello everyone, as many of you attended the recent INFORMS Conference in Florida, I'd love to hear about your experiences. How did you find the conference overall? Were there any sessions or talks that particularly stood out to you? What new insights or knowledge did you gain that left a lasting impression?

Additionally, I'm interested in hearing any suggestions you might have for improving future conferences. Were there aspects of the conference that could be enhanced to better serve our community?

It was a great conference!  Morning keynotes were informative. Throughout the conference, lots of opportunities to meet people, discuss ideas, and then bump into them several times to continue the discussions. My Thanks to the organizers!

As always....I find that it just goes by too quickly.  This is not a fault of anyone.  Just an observation that prioritizing how one spends their time is very difficult but important.  I would like to commend those that continue to improve the conference app experience.  Still a few annoying quirks, but each conference it gets a little better.  I would also like to say that the Gala was exceptionally run and I look forward to another great celebration next year.  The bar has been set high for next year's planning committee!

Thoroughly enjoyed the conference.

I was particularly impressed with a presentation from Dr. Tim Chan.  Dr. Chan's research team collaborated with a milk bank in Ontario, Canada on opportunities to enhance milk nutrients for premature infants.  Their investigation produced a wonderful synergy of analytical rigor and community connection.  It is inspiring to observe the compelling work undertaken by our INFORMS members in serving the communities around them.
