    Dear  Ashley,

Thank you so much for bringing greater awareness and depth to the priority issue of  "Transparency in Medicare Advantage Operations"!

I fully agree with the comment of our friend Ms.  Jill Capello, who wrote: "such an important topic".

In order to further underline and clarify my appreciation, I would like to mention that today, at the conference LLEAHMM International Conference - Logistics & Lean Engineering for Advanced Healthcare Methodologies Modelling, Naples, Italy,  October 10-12, 2024, which studies the particular topic "Leading the Healthcare Systems Sustainability towards the the 5.0 Paradigm" under the auspices of the Federico II University of Naples, one Keynote Lecture, given by Prof. Erfan Babaee Tirkolaee (Istinye University, Istanbul), had the title "Integrated configuration of a sustainable medical waste management system with co-modal transportation network", demonstrating the subject of your post, its actuality and importance. (Please see https://lleahmm.com.)

In this lecture and the subsequent discussion it became very clear what a useful and fruitful topic this is and how great the challenges are that our OR-MS community is facing and that we will certainly overcome together.

    So once again my "Bravo"!

    Warm regards,

    best wishes,

    Willi  (G.-W. Weber)
