Hi Everyone! I'm excited to join this community, and I'd like to share a bit about my journey:
I've always been curious about how data can really drive business decisions. I realized that my finance degree was missing the practical data skills essential for today's business world. To address this, I pursued an internship focused on strategic data analysis for major e-commerce platforms like Alibaba, Tmall, and JD.com. This experience deepened my understanding of how data can influence business outcomes.
In my academic life, I took on a significant challenge for my graduation thesis. I worked on predicting stock prices using Random Forest and Support Vector Machine algorithms. I faced issues like model overfitting and noisy market data, but I persevered. I learned from experts in the field and refined my models with radial basis function parameters, which improved their accuracy and enhanced my insights into financial data.
My journey from an inexperienced intern to a developing data analyst has been about continuous learning and tackling challenges. I'm eager to build my skills further, connect technical knowledge with business strategy, and develop innovative solutions for real-world challenges. I look forward to sharing ideas, learning from all of you.
