Innovative Applications in Analytics Award - Deadline December 20
In response to numerous inquiries, the IAAA application deadline has been postponed to December 20. Application details are provided below:
We are accepting applications for the prestigious Innovative Applications in Analytics Award (IAAA) brought to you by the Analytics Society of INFORMS, Boston Consulting Group, and Adelphi University. IAAA provides an excellent way to receive recognition for analytics success stories within and outside of your organization and we strongly encourage you to apply. If you know of other potential applicants, please do not hesitate to share this message with them.
Here are the key points for the 2024-2025 IAAA competition:
1. The award recognizes organizations for applications which combine multiple types of analytics -- descriptive, predictive or prescriptive -- in novel ways to achieve meaningful results.
2. Initial submission, a 500 - 1,000 words summary of your work, is due by the end of December 20. Submit your summary by email to juan.jaramillo@liu.edu and cc pallavc@alum.mit.edu
3. Up to ten semi-finalists, to be selected by January 20, will each be interviewed virtually by January 31.
4. Up to six semi-finalists, to be selected by February 7, will each be asked to prepare a deck to be presented to the judges by March 30, 2025.
5. Finalists will present their works on Tuesday April 8, 2025, during the INFORMS Analytics+ Conference in Indianapolis.
6. Applications that currently are being considered for other INFORMS prizes in parallel will not be considered.
