Innovative Applications in Analytics Award 2024 -- Apply now!!
Dear Colleague,
I hope this email finds you well. We are now accepting applications for the prestigious Innovative Applications in Analytics Award (IAAA). IAAA provides an excellent way to receive recognition for analytics success stories within and outside of your organization and we strongly encourage you to apply. If you know of other potential applicants, please do not hesitate to share this message.
Here are the key points for the 2023-2024 IAAA competition:
1. The award recognizes organizations for applications which combine multiple types of analytics -- descriptive, predictive or prescriptive -- in novel ways to achieve meaningful results.
2. Initial submission, a 500 - 1,000 words summary of your work, is due by November 15. Submit your summary by email to juan.jaramillo@liu.edu and cc pallavc@alum.mit.edu
3. Up to ten semi-finalists, to be selected by December 31, will each be interviewed virtually by January 31.
4. Up to six semi-finalists, to be selected by December 31, will each be asked to prepare a deck to be presented to the judges by March 24, 2024.
5. Finalists will present their works on Tuesday April 16, 2023, during the INFORMS Business Analytics and Operations Research Conference in Colorado, Denver.
6. Each finalist team will receive one free registration for the conference (It does not include lodging and travelling expenses)
7. Applications that currently are being considered for other INFORMS prizes in parallel will not be considered.
