Dear INFORMS Members,
The ISEM department of the National University of Singapore (NUS) is raising funds to set up a fund in memory of our dear friend and colleague, Prof Lee Loo Hay. This memorial fund will go towards supporting the Lee Loo Hay Memorial Prize for the MSc (Supply Chain Management) programme, and also the Lee Loo Hay Memorial Bursary for needy ISEM undergraduate students. Prof Lee had been the co-program director of our MSc(SCM) program since inception and had been critical in the development of the program over the years. He had also helped developed many courses and programs in our undergraduate program since its beginning in 2001.
Prof Lee was a very passionate, inspirational, and energetic teacher, who truly cared for all his students. In keeping with his passion for education, we hope that this prize and bursary will continue to inspire and help our students now and in the future.
