"Waterloo" is an excellent choice. As for "Twist and Shout", I would lean toward the Isley Brothers' version (the first to chart).

Jill (and all):
I DJed for my college radio station, so I could come up with a very long list, but I will limit it to five.
- If I had $1000000 - Barenaked Ladies (I turned this song into the Lacke/BNL inequality for teaching the concept of multivariate utility)
- Summer - War
- Sing A Song - Earth, Wind, and Fire
- Waterloo - ABBA
- Twist And Shout - The Beatles (especially when accompanied by Ferris Bueller and many Chicagoans)
I'm guessing that some people will suggest certain additional songs by artists 3 and 4. :-)

Fun post! It's hard to go wrong with "Lovely Day" by Bill Withers.
