Call for Nominations
TIMES Best Paper Award 2026
Due on February 15th, 2026
The Technology, Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship Section (TIMES) of INFORMS is pleased to continue the TIMES Best Paper Award. This year, the award is given to a paper published in 2020-21 that is deemed most deserving for its contribution to innovation and technology management research. The paper must be published in one of the following INFORMS journals: Management Science, Manufacturing and Service Operations Management, Operations Research, Organization Science, Marketing Science, or Information Systems Research.
Any paper related to innovation and technology management published in the above-mentioned journals in 2020-21 can be nominated for consideration. Self-nominations are accepted and encouraged. If you wish to nominate a paper, please send an email to Jochen Schlapp (j.schlapp@fs.de) with the paper's citation (authors, title, year, etc.) by February 15th, 2026. No additional supporting information is needed or expected.
The winner and a runner-up (or more in the case of a tie) will be selected by a panel of judges. The winning paper will be awarded a plaque at the TIMES business meeting at the INFORMS Annual Meeting 2026 in San Francisco.
