Each year, the Information Systems Society (ISS) of INFORMS selects one paper for the Best IS Paper in Management Science Award (https://connect.informs.org/iss/awards/ms-best-paper ). This paper is deemed most deserving for its contribution to the theory and practice of information systems. This year, the Best Paper Award will be selected from manuscripts published in Management Science between 2023 and 2025.
All papers published by the Information Systems Department are automatically nominated for this award (except winner papers of 2024 and 2025). In addition, any paper published in Management Science from 2023-2025 can be nominated for consideration. Self-nominations are accepted and encouraged. To nominate a paper, please send an email to Professor Hemant Bhargava (hemantb@ucdavis.edu) with the paper's citation (authors, title, year, etc.) by August 27, 2026. Please state the subject as "Nomination for Best IS Paper in Management Science Award - 2026". No additional supporting information is needed or expected.
