  • 1.  Book Recommendation - Elon Musk by Walter Isaacson

    I recommend the book "Elon Musk" by Walter Isaacson for our book club. I read it in a local book club. If you read "Steve Jobs" by this author, this book goes far beyond that book in sheer technological accomplishments across a wide variety of fields. Here is a quote from Amazon: "From the author of Steve Jobs and other bestselling biographies, this is the astonishingly intimate story of the most fascinating and controversial innovator of our era-a rule-breaking visionary who helped to lead the world into the era of electric vehicles, private space exploration, and artificial intelligence.     I loved Isaacson's earlier book on Jobs.  I'm sure this new one on Musk.  I would love to read this book.

    Hello Charles,

    Thank you for your feedback on the Elon Musk book by Walter Isaacson. I, too, read his book on Steve Jobs, which was very enlightening. I posted a second book by Isaacson on Leonardo da Vinci, which I  haven't read but is supposed to be outstanding, with plenty of science in it. I also have his book on Benjamin Franklin. I plan to write a review on that book as well, as long as it looks like it would be a fit to our group.
