Given the growing involvement of INFORMS members in NIH-supported research, we wanted to share a recent strategic update from the NIH Director:

The new framework aims to better coordinate priorities and funding across the agency. Key focus areas include (1) advancing artificial intelligence (with an AI Strategic Plan in development), (2) building a national infrastructure for real-world data, and (3) strengthening the scientific foundation through improved replication and reproducibility practices.

In addition, notices of NIH funding opportunities (NOFOs) will now be posted exclusively on grants.gov, rather than in the NIH Guide.
