    Dear Colleagues, 

    On behalf of the Dantzig Dissertation Award Committee, we are delighted to announce the finalists of the 2024 George B. Dantzig Dissertation Award. 

    The finalists in alphabetical order are as follows:

    1.     Abdullah Alomar (MIT), "Simulating Dynamical Systems from Data"

    2.     Mehrdad Ghadiri (Georgia Tech), "Scalable, Efficient, and Fair Algorithms for Structured Convex Optimization Problems"

    3.     Alp Sungu (London Business School), "Essays on Technology-enabled Social Impact"

    4.     Leann Thayaparan (MIT), "Analytics and Decision Making in Sustainable Operations"

    You are invited to attend their talks at the INFORMS Annual Meeting on Sunday, October 20, 4:00 – 5:15pm in room Regency – 605. The winner, runner-up, and honorable mentions will be announced and recognized at the INFORMS Awards Ceremony scheduled at 7:45–9pm on Sunday night.
