The Railway Applications Section (RAS), founded in 1994, is dedicated to advancing the development and application of operations research and analytics in the railway industry. It connects professionals from academia and industry to address complex challenges in railway operations, with the vision of contributing to a more sustainable, resilient, and intelligent rail system.
