We are seeking nominations for the 2018 Group Decision and Negotiation INFORMS Section Award.
The GDN INFORMS Section Award honors an individual who has made outstanding contributions to research in the field of Group Decision and Negotiation and/or an individual who is a member of the GDN Section in good standing and who has made exceptional contributions to the GDN Section. The contributions justifying the award may be recent or they may have been made over the recipient's professional lifetime. The Award will be accompanied by a Citation, to be prepared by the GDN INFORMS Section Award Committee, describing the recipient's contributions to Group Decision and Negotiation.
The 2018 GDN INFORMS Section Award is scheduled to be presented during the GDN conference dinner which will take place at the GDN 2018 conference, to be held at the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Nanjing, China, June 9th to 13th, 2018 . The Award Recipient will be invited to deliver a keynote address at the conference.
A nominator should clearly explain why the nominee is deserving to receive the GDN INFORMS Section Award, by specifying the nominee’s exceptional research contributions to the field of Group Decision and Negotiation, and/or outstanding service to the GDN Section. The nomination document should not exceed two pages using typing which is not smaller than 11 point. The nominator should submit the two-page nomination document, along with a curriculum vitae, as attachments to a brief email sent to the GDN INFORMS Section Awards Committee Chair (see below) on or before the nomination deadline of February 25, 2018.
