Presenting a case study at WinterSim can enhance your professional profile, provide networking opportunities, and position you as a leader in the simulation community. WinterSim allows you to engage with attendees from various industries and academic backgrounds to gain new insights and take home know-how to share with your team.
You might have done important work that used simulation to conduct analysis and provide recommendations for potential solutions to a specific problem; or where simulation is the backbone of a commercial application enabling critical use cases that you would like to share with others.

The Commercial Case Studies Track is a multidisciplinary forum for practitioners to share their experiences in modeling real-world problems across various fields, including but not limited to:
- Manufacturing
- Logistics and distribution
- Healthcare
- Mining
- Social and human behavior
- Aerospace
- Food services
- Military
- Data analytics
- Standard implementations
- Supply Chain
- Digital transformation
Presentations are 25 minutes with an additional 5 minutes for Q&A, focusing on specific problems solved using simulation. Only a 150-word abstract and a two-page extended abstract are required. Selected case studies will be featured on the WSC Archive website. Deadlines are as follows:
· August 12, 2024 (extended from August 2): Submit 2-page extended abstracts (see template)
· September 2, 2024: Notification of acceptance
· September 13, 2024: Final extended abstracts due
· September 18, 2024: Eligibility check
