As we wind down from an exhilarating Annual Meeting, we continue to celebrate this year's recipients of WORMS Awards. One of the highlights of this week was an opportunity to recognize our winners in person at the WORMS Luncheon.
The Award for the Advancement of Women in OR/MS celebrates and recognizes individuals who have contributed significantly to the advancement and recognition of women in the field of OR/MS. This year we have two distinguished awardees:
Prof Georgia Perakis from MIT, and
Ms. Ruchi Mahindru from IBM Research.
You are an inspiration to us all!
Our other awards include the following:
1. The Doctoral Student Colloquium Award, awarded to Vidita Gawade from Rutgers University, and Caroline Johnston from the University of Southern California.
2. The Family Care Award, awarded to Sandra Buzon from Texas A&M University, and Shubhi Asthana from IBM Research.
3. The Early Career Professionals' Network Award is awarded at the INFORMS Business Analytics Conference. The 2022 recipient of this award was Christina Stradwick from Kennesaw State University.
