The INFORMS Membership Committee is seeking two members to serve for a three year term, 2026 – 2028.
The Membership Committee's role is to identify and review membership value, needs, and benefits and to explore ways to retain, promote, and increase membership. We are looking for members who are engaged and enthusiastic, who can bring their own unique experiences and perspectives and share them with the rest of the committee. Expectations include:
- Attending regular one-hour committee meetings, which are held over Zoom about 6 times per year.
- Participating in a subgroup assigned to work on a specific task, which may require 1-2 more meetings per year.
- Reading and responding to occasional email communication from the Chair or staff between committee meetings. Typically, such email is asking for written feedback on a project.
- On a quarterly basis, participating in evaluating applications for Senior Members.
