    Two Faculty Positions in OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT

     

    POSITION: The Naveen Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas is seeking to fill two tenure-track faculty positions in Operations Management beginning in Fall 2023. The positions are open rank, but Assistant Professor candidates are preferred. All areas of research in Operations Management will be considered. Appointees must have a Ph.D. or equivalent in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Decision Sciences, or another related area (or an ABD status with the expectation of receiving the Ph.D. within a year of hire date) and demonstrate the ability to conduct internationally recognized research. We seek scholars who can produce research of excellent quality with high impact. The person would teach Operations Management courses in the core curriculum as well as specialized electives. The Jindal School is home to the Center and Laboratory for Behavioral Operations and Economics (LBOE) and the Center for Intelligent Supply Networks, which sponsors several industry projects. 

    QUALIFICATIONSPh.D. or equivalent in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Decision Sciences, or another related area (or an ABD status with the expectation of receiving the Ph.D. within a year of hire date). In addition, candidates at the Assistant Professor level should demonstrate potential for excellence in research and teaching, whereas senior candidates are expected to have outstanding publication records (in particular in journals on the "UTD-24 list" – see https://jsom.utdallas.edu/the-utd-top-100-business-school-research-rankings) and teaching records.
