Dear colleagues,
At NHH Norwegian School of Economics, we have scheduled the course BEA522 on Rural Logistics offered this summer from July 31 to August 5. This is an intensive one-week course designed for a load of 5 ECT credits that will focus on the challenges posed by the planning and operations of logistics networks in rural areas. The course content is research-based, and the lecturers taking part in it will discuss their research in rural logistics.
Thanks to the support of The Research Council of Norway, the course is offered without registration fees. Additionally, we provide lunches and coffee breaks from Monday, July 31, to Friday, August 4, and a social event with dinner on Tuesday, August 1. The venue is the NHH campus in Bergen, Norway. We have available a few grants to cover 6 hotel nights including breakfast, checking in on July 31, and checking out on August 6. The funded openings will be granted on first-in-first-served bases until the available resources are exhausted.
I would appreciate it if you could distribute this announcement to students potentially interested in taking the course; they must be enrolled in a recognized PhD program. To register for the course, interested students must email julio.goez@nhh.no with the subject "BEA522 Rural Logistics" and attach a support letter from the supervisor.
The detailed course program is attached.
Kind regards,
