We are seeking up to 8 front-line data workers who meet the following criteria to participate as panelists in an intensive 2-day focus group workshop to develop a "Profile of the AI-Enhanced Data Practitioner."
Criteria:

Is employed in a position that entails using AI for data work;

Is experienced in using AI tools for at least 6 months at work;

Is recognized by peers as an expert in using AI;

Can provide examples of how to use AI to perform routine tasks and solve problems at work; and

Can describe the types of AI tools used.

smacgillivray@edc.org After responding to this call, you will be sent an email survey asking for specific details related to the bullets above. You will then be contacted for a short interview to discuss your AI experience. Candidates found to be a good fit for this workshop will be invited to participate in a workshop taking place in the coming months. A modest stipend will be provided and, if the workshop is held in person, your travel expenses will be covered by the project.
The workshop will result in a "Profile of the AI-Enhanced Data Practitioner" that will be used by community colleges and others to develop/revise programs and curriculum. With your and your company's approval, your name and your employer's name will be listed on the Profile that will be disseminated nationally by EDC. Furthermore, If you know of any individuals who might fit these criteria, we would welcome an opportunity to meet them, discuss their AI skills/interest, and consider them as well for this activity.
