    Dear Colleagues,

This is a reminder that the due date for the ENRE-Natural Resources Best Publication Award nominations is June 30, 2022.

This is an award call by the Energy, Natural Resources, and the Environment (ENRE) Section of INFORMS. The award is given annually to the best refereed journal article in the
    Natural Resources area.

This year, only those papers published will full citation information (not online publication) between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2021 will be considered eligible for the award. A paper can be nominated only by a current ENRE member (2022 active membership is required), but the authors of the nominated papers may not necessarily be ENRE members. Self-nominations are welcome as long as at least one of the authors is an ENRE member. Self-nominators may submit at most one paper.

The winner(s) will give a short presentation of the winning paper in the ENRE Awards Session during the INFORMS Annual Meeting in October 2022 in Indianapolis. The presenter must register for the conference and will be responsible for the associated travel and registration expenses. The award includes an official certificate from INFORMS.

Papers that have already won an ENRE award in the past are not eligible for nomination for any award this year. A paper can be nominated for more than one area award (see here for the other areas − Energy and  Environment&Sustainability), but it cannot receive more than one award. In your nomination package, please indicate if the paper has been nominated for more than one area award this year.

All nominations in the area of Natural Resources must be received no later than June 30th, 2022. The nominators should send an email to the award committee chair, Gokce Palak (, accompanied with a package including two documents, both in pdf format, containing:

    1) The information on the nominator, nominee, full reference of the article, and the area(s) of nomination (i.e., Energy, Natural Resources, or Environment&Sustainability).

    2) A copy of the article written in English.
