    The Department of Business and Administration at the University of Winnipeg is accepting applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow position in Supply Chain Analytics. The postdoctoral fellow will conduct research under the supervision of Dr. Farzad Zaerpour. The postdoctoral fellow must have interest and expertise in working in supply chain and logistics. In addition to data analytics skills, the postdoctoral fellow should have methodological expertise in one or more operations research domains, such as optimization, simulation, heuristics, and machine learning.

     

    The appointment is for a one-year term starting on September 1, 2022, or as soon as possible.

     

    Qualifications

    • Must hold a Ph.D. in Business Analytics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related discipline.
    • Strong Preference will be given to applicants with experience in Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, and or Data Science.
    • Must have an excellent working knowledge of computer programming.
    • Must have depth and breadth of methodological expertise, supply chain domain knowledge, commitment to publish in quality journals, and grant writing experience.
