I want to bring to your attention an Optimization workshop to be held in Colombia in Dec 9-13, see https://optimization-workshop.github.io/ for specific information. The workshop will be held by the Universidad de los Andes in Bogota, and is organized by Mauricio Junca (from the Universidad de los Andes), Mateo Diaz (from Johns Hopkins University) and myself (from the University of Southern California). This is a single track event with some terrific speakers. I encourage you to attend.
Also, if you have students that would be interested in participating, the event will feature a poster session and we can offer some travel support to students, so please let them know about this possibility.
