    The Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics of the University of Zurich invites applications for an

    Assistant Professorship in Sports Data Based Management and Economics

    starting in the spring of 2023. Candidates should have an excellent track record in the area of sports data based research in management and economics as well as strong teaching skills both at the undergraduate and the graduate levels. The position is initially limited to six years.

    Candidates are expected to have published and be engaged in internationally recognized management and economics research based on sports data. They should also have experience in teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in sports management, sports economics and quantitative methods relevant for the sports-as-a-laboratory approach. The performance evaluation will be under-taken in line with DORA and the Open Science Policy of the University of Zurich.

    The professorship will become an active part within the Institute of Business Administration (https://www.business.uzh.ch/en.html) and the Center for Research in Sports Administration (https://www.crsa.uzh.ch/en.html) at the University of Zurich.
