This is a friendly reminder that the abstract submission deadline for the 16th Annual Conference on Health IT and Analytics (CHITA 2026) is ONE WEEK away (February 27, 2026).
|
|
CHITA 2026 will be held at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Center, 555 Pennsylvania Avenue, Washington, D.C., on May 8–9, 2026, with a preconference Doctoral Consortium on May 7, 2026.
|
|
Papers are solicited on a wide range of topics, including, but not limited to:
- Health IT’s adoption and economic impact
- Artificial Intelligence (AI) for healthcare (Agentic AI, Generative AI, Human-AI Collaboration, Machine Learning, and Big Data)
- Data ecosystems (HIE, Interoperability, Governance)
- New IT-enabled care delivery models for clinical operational optimization
- Telehealth, mHealth, and patient engagement
- IT for healthcare applications (Algorithmic Bias, Fairness, and Improved Healthcare Outcomes across Populations)
- Mental health applications
- Complex social challenges

Paper Submissions:
Submissions will be accepted through https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=chita2026. Click or tap if you trust this link." target="_blank" rel="noopener">EasyChair in PDF format (≤50 MB). A brief abstract (one page, 500-word max) is required by Friday, February 27, 2026. Optional extended abstracts (≤5 pages) or full manuscripts may also be submitted. All submissions will be reviewed for novelty, rigor, and policy impact. Decisions will be sent no later than Friday, March 20, 2026.

About CHITA
CHITA is an annual research summit and doctoral consortium that gathers prominent scholars in a multidisciplinary setting. Through the lens of the growing significance and impact of analytics and health information technology, the conference advances individual and population health, along with improving health system quality and performance. Each year, the conference attracts over 100 scholars and thought leaders from more than 40 institutions. CHITA provides a forum for researchers to disseminate their work and network within a growing and vibrant community. This conference fosters collaboration between academia, government, and industry to bridge research, policy, and practice. The conference is hosted by the Center for Digital Health and Artificial Intelligence (CDHAI) at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. CHITA is produced in partnership with co-chairs from the University of Michigan School of Public Health and the University of Texas at Austin.
