Dear Dr. Smith,
Dear Ashley,
once again, you have demonstrated a keen eye for selecting the latest news, discussion, research, and application suggestions in and from the world of OR-MS and INFORMS.
With regard to the research you presented and its results, I would like to mention the following, quite diverse, possible, and very careful fields of application (including overlays):
(i) quality management, quality control, and controlling within companies and institutions, with regard to their auditing, regulatory, and security personnel and staff, as well as human resource management - all of this also understood in a creative and forward-looking sense;
(ii) the same as in item (i), but in the external world, the outsourced, and external impact of companies and institutions, and with regard to such personnel and staff, coworkers and participants;
(iii) preparation, accompaniment, and support of stewards and controllers of various kinds in public, for example, at large events of all kinds;
(iv) the contents of items (i)-(iii) in publishing and publications;
(v) in medicine and healthcare;
(vi) in the processing of history; and
(vii) in design and planning, development and implementation, bringing-it-into-life and monitoring, and continuous review and improvement of what is still called the future today.
Cordial thanks again to you and the entire INFORMS team, which ensures and maintains this useful and lovely discussion stage.
With kind regards,
best wishes,
Willi (Gerhard-Wilhelm Weber)
