Dear Colleagues,
The 2026 Annual MSOM Conference, which will be held in Boston, MA at the Harvard Business School from Sunday, July 12th to Tuesday, July 14th, 2026, is open for submission. Please submit your paper via the following manuscript central submission site (please note that this is different from the MSOM Journal submission site):
https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/msomconference
Deadlines
To be considered for presentation at the main MSOM Conference, please submit of a 3-page extended abstract by 11:59pm Eastern Time, February 27th, 2026.
To be considered for presentation at one of the SIG Day mini-conferences, please submit a full paper by 11:59pm Eastern Time, January 31st, 2026 (see formatting requirements below). These deadlines are strict and will not be extended. The submitting / corresponding author should be the individual who would present the work if accepted.
Submission Process & Presentation Limit
Due to capacity constraints, each attendee is limited to one submission to the MSOM conference, one submission to one of the SIG Day mini-conferences, and one presentation during the entire three-day conference period. In addition, the same work can be presented only once during the entire three-day conference period.
Colleagues wanting to be considered for presentation of the same work at one of the SIG Day mini-conferences and at the main MSOM Conference (in case their SIG Day mini-conference submission is not accepted) must separately submit both an extended abstract and a full paper by the above deadlines. Submissions accepted for presentation at a SIG Day mini-conference will be removed from consideration for presentation at the main MSOM conference if also submitted there.
At the authors' discretion, full papers submitted for presentation at one of the SIG Day mini-conferences and satisfying required guidelines may also be considered for publication in the M&SOM journal as part of a specific process organized by its editorial board (1RR initiative).
Submissions will be selected for presentation by peer review. Submissions not accepted for presentation at either the main MSOM Conference or a SIG Day mini-conference could potentially be offered a space in the poster presentation session to be held on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026.
Submission Formatting Requirements
Extended Abstracts for Main MSOM Conference: Authors should submit an extended abstract (in PDF format) of no more than three pages with 1-inch margins, 11-point font, and at most 33 lines per page. To facilitate peer review, extended abstract should not contain author names and should include the title, a description of the research problem, the key methodology, and a summary of major results and their significance. References, if any, should be included within the three pages. Please submit only one file and choose "Manuscript" under "File Category." No other files will be reviewed. The submitting author must be the individual who would present the work if accepted.
Full Papers for SIG Day mini-conferences: Each paper should comply with the M&SOM journal formatting standards.
We look forward to seeing you in Boston!
