    Dear MIP friends and practitioners,

We are happy to announce the MIP Computational Competition 2025. This year, the competition focuses on primal heuristics for quadratic MIP (MIQP/MIQCQP). The task is to develop an algorithm and code that quickly finds good solutions to quadratic MIPs. Participants are allowed to build upon different subsolvers, but we also evaluate the novelty of each submission. Details of the competition are available on https://www.mixedinteger.org/2025/competition/. The submission deadline for the code and report is March 16, 2025.

The winner(s) will be announced at MIP Workshop 2025. The jury will select up to three finalists to present their work at the MIP Workshop 2025, and the finalists will receive travel support.

In addition, high-quality submissions will be invited to an expedited review process in Mathematical Programming Computation. A special issue dedicated to the competition is being considered (depending on the number of high-quality submissions).

We especially encourage student teams to participate, and the competition is open to everyone. This year's competition has been designed to have a low barrier for participation - making it an excellent chance to get into the "MIP Hall of Fame."
