Mini Data Challenge
Join us at the 4th Midwest Healthcare Conference, August 23, 2024 for a Mini Data Challenge! Apply cutting-edge methodologies to real-world data and contribute to critical research on the effects of glucocorticoids/hydroxychloroquine on COVID-19 survival as a causal intervention. This challenge fosters innovation and emphasizes rigorous, transparent, and ethical research practices in healthcare.
Challenge Question
Estimate the causal effects of glucocorticoids and hydroxychloroquine on the 28-day survival of COVID-19 patients stratified by disease severity (low, moderate, severe) using a structural causal model and the provided real-world dataset.
How to Participate
No prior knowledge is needed to participate in this event. The competition will be held on the user-friendly, intuitive platform, cStructure, which will allow participants to create and refine their models. Moreover, the data will also be available on the platform and ready for analysis. A video tutorial will be available, and a user-workshop will be held to help navigate the challenge and provide further guidance.
Participate individually or as a team of up to four. Complete one registration form per team. Register here.
