    Hello,

The Minority Issues Forum (MIF) board is compiling a list of underrepresented minorities (URMs) in OR/MS who are currently on the job market.

The purpose of this list is to enable URMs the ability to expand their network in the INFORMS community, and to provide a resource for employers to diversify the workforce.

The NSF definition of URMs is as follows:  Races or ethnicities whose representation in STEM employment and S&E education is smaller than their representation in the U.S. population. This includes Blacks or African Americans, Hispanics or Latinos, and American Indians or Alaska Natives.  NSF website

STEM:  science, technology, engineering, and mathematics

    S&E:  science and engineering

In conjunction with this list, MIF and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (DEIC) are interested in compiling documents and videos that can be used as a guide for the INFORMS community on diversifying the workforce. If you have access to content that you believe could support this initiative, please email the material to MIF at mif.informs@gmail.com. MIF and DEIC will work to compile this information and share it with the INFORMS community in the upcoming months.
