The Kelley School of Business invites you to attend a unique, one-day Life Sciences and Healthcare Research Conference hosted by the Kelley School's Center for the Business of Life Sciences, on March 01, 2024. Details and registration are provided at this link.
The goal of this conference will be to explore academic, industry, and regulatory perspectives on quality management in life sciences and healthcare. This conference will also help foster new research collaborations by connecting academic scholars with industry and regulatory professionals.
To help present these different perspectives, we will have three keynote presentations. The academic keynote will be given by a leading healthcare scholar, Sanjay Mehrotra from Northwestern University. The industry keynote will be from an experienced Vice-President of Quality at Medtronic Corporation, one of the world's leading life sciences innovation and manufacturing firms. The regulatory keynote will be given by a former FDA investigator who has extensive experience in regulating quality in the pharmaceutical industry.
In addition to the keynote addresses, there will be academic paper presentations, a $500 research paper award, and breakout sessions in which research projects can be identified that leverage academic expertise, industry questions that need answering, and regulatory perspectives that can help shape new research projects. If you are interested in submitting a paper for the competition and presenting your research, please submit your paper to lifesc@indiana.edu by 2/15/24.
The conference starts at 8am and ends at 6pm with a cocktail hour. The registration fee is $125. The details are included in this conference link. The conference is downtown Indianapolis near several accessible and affordable hotels, including the JW Marriott, Courtyard and Westin Indianapolis, and many others.
We welcome you to register soon, as there is a maximum of 100 attendees that can attend the conference. Please feel free to send any questions you may have to Jonathan Helm or myself, the co-coordinators of this conference.
