Dear Colleagues,
Please join us for a one-day symposium on June 1st, 2026 at Columbia Business School bringing together leading faculty and academic innovators from top business schools across the country to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming the MBA - and what comes next.
Business education may be at an inflection point. Generative AI, agentic systems, and new forms of human-machine collaboration are reshaping not only the skills our students must develop, but also how we teach, assess, and design curricula. Around the world, business schools are rethinking core courses, reinventing the case method, experimenting with AI-driven assessment, and developing entirely new frameworks for product management, entrepreneurship, analytics, and leadership in an AI-native era.
This symposium will provide a forum for showcasing best-in-class curricular innovation, sharing concrete teaching tools, cases, and classroom experiments, examining how generative and agentic AI reshape management education, discussing AI-driven assessment techniques, "vibe coding," emerging AI-enabled workflows, and more.
Our goal is not simply to reflect on change, but to actively shape it. By bringing together educators who are experimenting boldly and rigorously, we aim to catalyze new collaborations and generate concrete ideas that can inform the next evolution of MBA education. In addition to the scheduled program of events listed at the link below, we are soliciting proposals for 10 minute "lightening talks" that will take place throughout the day. Please reach out to guetta@gsb.columbia.edu if you have any interesting teaching innovations you'd be willing to talk about in one of those sessions.
We hope to see you there!
