    The PATH Lab (Policy Analytics & Transformative Healthcare) at Singapore Management University is recruiting a Research Fellow and Research Assistants to join a newly funded large-scale healthcare analytics and AI research project supported by the Ministry of Health Singapore.

    We are building next-generation, data-driven and AI-enabled tools to support smarter healthcare policy, healthcare operations, and decision-making. Our work sits at the intersection of:

    • Healthcare AI & analytics

    • Data science and predictive modelling

    • Healthcare operations and resource optimization

    • Behavioural and policy analytics

    • Preventive healthcare and population health

    • Smart and resilient healthcare systems

    This project brings together a highly interdisciplinary team, including clinicians from major public hospitals, healthcare data scientists, policymakers, and academic collaborators from multiple universities.

    Open Positions

    Research Fellow (Healthcare Analytics & Research)

    We are looking for candidates interested in:

    • AI-enabled healthcare analytics

    • Quantitative modelling and policy evaluation

    • Research software and system design

    • Translating research ideas into real-world healthcare tools

    • Academic publications and interdisciplinary collaboration

    Preferred Background

    • PhD in OR / IE / CS / Data Science / Analytics or related areas

    • Strong Python and analytical skills

    • Strong software/system design capability

    • Interest in healthcare systems and policy applications

    Research Assistant (Healthcare Modelling & Research)

    Focus Areas

    • Healthcare analytics and modelling

    • Data integration and calibration

    • Behavioural and policy analysis

    • Literature review and research support

    • Academic writing and research outputs

    Preferred Background

    • OR / Analytics / Statistics / Health Services Research

    • Experience with quantitative modelling and data analysis

    • Interest in healthcare systems, healthcare policy, or population health

    Research Assistant (AI & Data Development)

    Focus Areas

    • AI-assisted development and analytics

    • Data processing and experimentation

    • Visualization/dashboard support

    • Research software and tooling support

    Preferred Background

    • Computer Science / Software Engineering / Data Science

    • Strong Python skills

    • Familiarity with visualization or analytics tools
