    Dear Colleagues

Does your research deeply examine an industry, or does your work have implications for public policy? Do you want to attend a truly multi-disciplinary conference with like-minded scholars?

If you answered yes to any of the above, please consider attending the Industry Studies Association's (ISA) first international conference, taking place in Oxford, UK, this autumn! The conference is hosted by Saïd Business School (University of Oxford), chaired by Benn Lawson, and includes a gala conference dinner at Balliol College, one of Oxford's oldest colleges.

The conference takes place 3–5 September 2026. The Association is an offshoot of the highly influential Sloan Foundation Industry Studies program, which funded such important research streams as the Wharton Banking Studies, California (Berkeley) semiconductor studies, and the MIT International Motor Vehicle Program, which resulted in the book 'The Machine that Changed the World.'

Additional information about the event and research streams can be found here: ISA International Conference 2026 in Oxford, UK

A 250-word abstract is all you need to submit! The conference submission deadline is Friday, 17th April.

Please find the link to the call for papers here: Call for Papers: 2026 Oxford, UK Conference

If you have any questions about the conference in general or the submission process, please feel free to reach out to Oliver von Dzengelevski (olivervdz@ethz.ch), track chair for operations, supply chain, and AI-enhanced industry 4.0.

We hope to see you in Oxford!
