    ****Apologies for cross-listing ****

    Dear Colleagues,

As the co-chairs of the Revenue Management and Pricing (RMP) cluster and the Auctions and Market Design (AMD) cluster at this year's INFORMS Annual Meeting, we would like to extend our invitation to junior Ph.D. students in our community to present their research at our joint RMP/AMD flash sessions.

These joint flash sessions are unique opportunities for early-year Ph.D. students (ideally first or second years) to showcase their research in a 5-minute talk. Even incomplete research and ongoing work, or even just talking about research ideas and related work, is welcome and is considered an acceptable format. We are planning to organize two sessions, wherein each session we have 10 flash talks followed by a 20-minute Q&A at the end of each session. We hope the presentation and Q&A provide the junior students with valuable feedback. We also believe this will be an exciting opportunity for early Ph.D. students to share their ideas and engage with fellow academics at INFORMS.

We encourage interested candidates to send us an email. Also, feel free to share this invitation with Ph.D. students that you see fit and ask interested candidates to contact us directly.

    Deadline: May 15, 2023

Please note that the one-talk-per-speaker rule still applies to flash talks. So an eligible student should not have made any prior commitments to another INFORMS session. Also, the space is limited and we will assign them on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Thank you for your consideration and please let us know if you have any questions.

    Best,

    Co-chairs of the RMP cluster:
    Ningyuan Chen (ningyuan.chen@utoronto.ca)
    Rad Niazadeh (rad.niazadeh@chicagobooth.edu)
    Daniel Freund (dfreund@mit.edu)

    Chair of the AMD cluster:
    Sasa Pekec (pekec@duke.edu)
