(With apologies for cross-posting)
Hello everyone,
Are you struggling to get realistic route distances and paths for your transportation, logistics, operations, and location models? Most tools force a trade-off:
-
Google/Bing Maps API → accurate but costly and rate-limited
-
OSMnx → open but heavy, online-only, and slow
-
Euclidean plus circuity → fast but not realistic enough for decision-making
SCGraph provides an alternative:
-
Accurate road, rail, maritime, and multimodal routes
-
Offline, visualizable, and computationally efficient
-
Free and open-source
Developed by the CAVE Team at MIT Center for Transportation & Logistics in collaboration with Kühne Logistics University and Zaragoza Logistics Center, SCGraph is built for large-scale vehicle routing, facility location, and network design in both research and industry.
