We are pleased to share that submissions are now open for the INFORMS Workshop on Data Science 2026, hosted by the INFORMS College on Artificial Intelligence.
The workshop will take place on October 31, 2026, in San Francisco, California, in conjunction with the INFORMS Annual Meeting. WDS 2026 welcomes innovative data science research addressing business and societal problems through data mining, machine learning, optimization, and related methods. Relevant application areas include marketing, finance, health care, cybersecurity, social networks, and other business and societal domains. The workshop also welcomes theoretical and methodological contributions, including optimization for machine learning and new algorithms for data mining.
Important dates:
* Paper submission opens: May 23, 2026
* Paper submission deadline: July 1, 2026
* Notification of acceptance: August 25, 2026
* Workshop date: October 31, 2026
Submissions may be either complete papers of up to 10 pages or short papers of up to 5 pages. Submissions must be blinded and should follow the formatting instructions in the Call for Papers (https://sites.google.com/view/data-science-2026/call-for-papers).
We encourage researchers working in data science, machine learning, optimization, business analytics, and related areas to submit their work and participate in WDS 2026.
