Good morning,
I have several clips for you this week of members who have been featured in news media.
Agni Orfanoudaki of Oxford was the subject of a lengthy Q&A with U.S. News and World Report about her study in Management Science, "Vertical Patient Streaming in Emergency Departments," which was also a subject of a press release last month.
The op-ed "Teens Need Sleep. Schools Can Afford to Give It to Them." by Arthur Delarue, Zhen Lian and Sebastien Martin was published in RealClearEducation, based on Management Science paper "Algorithmic Precision and Human Decision: A Study of Interactive Optimization for School Schedules." We had previously published a press release in December.
Dean Keith Willoughby of the University of Saskatchewan was interviewed several times by the CBC (Canadian Broadcast Corporation). He is a supply chain expert and talked to CBC about the implications of U.S. tariffs on Canada.
