Dr. Priyank Arora

Dr. Priyank Arora is a tenured Associate Professor at the department of Management Science of the Darla Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina. Dr. Arora is interested in advancing the understanding of operational decision-making within and across organizations that are motivated by social and environmental considerations (such as, the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals). Previously, Dr. Arora was an Assistant Professor of Operations Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He received his PhD in business administration from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a recognized scholar, having won the 2024 MSOM Best Paper Award, and is a committed advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion.
As the founding president of the INFORMS Pride Forum and a former ambassador for INFORMS DEI program, he plays a crucial role in promoting DEI practices within the INFORMS community.
