Dear Colleagues,
INFORMS Education Outreach Committee has 32 members working to encourage students towards careers in Operations Research, Management Science, Industrial Engineering, and analytics. Through 3 EOC committees, K-12, undergraduate, and graduate, we work on projects that demonstrate the opportunity of this high impact career and share the resources that INFORMS has to offer.
We have 4 exciting events planned for INFORMS 2025 Annual Meeting in Atlanta, which takes place the week after next: October 26-29. Below you will find a description of the events with date, time, and location. Each of the 3 EOC committees is featuring a panel discussion on their work. Please plan to attend and bring your colleagues too.
In addition, we invite you to join us at the Welcome Reception on Sunday, October 26 at 6:30-8:30p in GWCC Building A, Level 1, Exhibit Hall A3. In the hall, we will display the posters from our recent STEM Spark Poster Contest in which OR/MS/IE students submitted their research in a form accessible to high school students. You will be able to meet the poster authors and members of the EOC. I look forward to meeting you there.
Attached to this post is flyer describing the 4 events.
Thanks for supporting Education Outreach and see you in Atlanta!
