    Dear INFORMS members:

As you may know, concerns have been growing in recent weeks over the removal of key federal data from agency websites. These datasets are essential for research, policy analysis, and public services, and their sudden disappearance has raised alarms across multiple professions and disciplines.

As part of our ongoing advocacy efforts, INFORMS has joined more than 230 organizations and over 2,600 individuals in signing a joint letter urging Congress to restore this critical federal data. The letter calls for immediate action to reinstate removed datasets and safeguard future public access to taxpayer-funded information.

This initiative was organized by the Council of Professional Associations on Federal Statistics (COPAFS), the American Statistical Association (ASA), and the Population Association of America (PAA).

    Thank you,

    Jeff Cohen
